Initial Contact
Either by phone, text or email. Once you have made contact I find it useful to have a conversation over the phone to answer any initial questions that you may have and to find out some more about what you may wish to bring to counselling. This can be fairly brief, usually less than 10 minutes, is free of charge and carries no obligation.
What to expect in your first session
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. There is a space for you to find out about the counselling process and ask any more specific questions. We can then both decide if we would like to continue to work together.
Sessions going forward
Initially I suggest 6 sessions held on a once a week basis followed by a review of our work together. We can then decide if we would like to continue to work together for a set amount of time or on an open ended basis.
